[Tutorial] How to renew Malaysia Passport online

New normal after MCO, you can renew your expired passport online application without long queing at Immigration Office.

Note: only applicants aged 13 years old and above can renew their passport online.

But first get ready few items before you proceed to renew your passport online.
1. Passport Photo

  • Plain white background;
  • Dark color clothing that cover shoulders and chest;
  • Face and forehead should not covered;
  • Avoid wearing on eyes, ear, just make sure face & forehead as clean as nature;
  • Photo must be taken not later than 1 month from application date.

2. Credit card / Debit card / FPX

  • Aged 13 – 59 years old, passport renewal rates RM200 (5-year validity)
  • Aged 60 years and above, passport renewal rates RM100 (5-year validity)
  • The payment gateway will stop working during 10:55pm – 12:30am kerana penyelenggaran sistem. Mohon lakukan bayaran selepas 12:30am.

3. Passport Collection Point

  • Choose wisely for your passport collection point under “Pejabat Pungutan” when fill up the application later.
  • Collect in person with exisiting passport, IC, and payment receipt
  • It takes 3 working days usually and make sure you have valid access email.

Now, first go to https://imigresen-online.imi.gov.my/eservices/myPasport?lang=en to submit application.

Fill up the application form and submit it then it will prompt you for payment.

You then receive email for payment successful application and collection details.
